I am so happy to see that all of us are basically at the same weight and progress. I'm inspired by all of you and I want to hear more about what you're doing/eating etc. Seriously!
Me? I kicked it into high gear this last week as I had not lost any weight since December (holidays!) I'm still at 168. Over the holidays I am happy to say I didn't
gain any weight, I just stayed the same. Which is also a little discouraging as I can't help but seeing four weeks as four or more pounds lost

I feel like I've failed so many times at weight loss this last Fall. I see now that if I don't change my lifestyle for good, I will continue to gain +1 lb per week which would put me at 180lbs next May. Obviously,
not something I want to do. SO, I just got back on track last week and so far I'm:
- Using FitDay.com (free, easy and awesome) to enter in my daily calories and activity.
- Athletic club 3X per week, elliptical for 30 minutes
- WiiFit 2x per week w/ boxing, hula hoop, and aerobic for 40 minutes total.
- Eating at my "would be" weight - as in, a 128 lb person would need at least 1,700 calories. I'm staying between 1,300 and 1,700 calories per day, striving to lose 2 lb per week but it's hard!
- I'm vegan, so no meat or dairy, but don't let that fool you: there is a reason I gained so much weight over the last year (+30lbs) and that I because I was eating
a lot of processed vegan "meats", garden burgers, soy cheeses etc. I've since cut out almost all of the processed foods and I'm making my food at home (easier to count the calories that way). I'm doing sushi, sandwiches, soups, stews, Indian food, all kinds of vegetables, fruit etc. When I have a craving for something salty like potato chips, I'm doing baked sweet potato fries. I don't generally have a sweet tooth so that part is easy

- I'm also a huge micro brew fan (Portland has the
best beers and I do factor in a stout when counting my calories. I can't help it!
Alexandra - you're so right about having a plan of action. I've been using FitDay to enter in my calories and it really keeps me on track. If I'm not losing weight I can easily see why. Thanks for the support!
ANYWAY - HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?
