So i basically decided to loose weight cause i need to boost my ego and it just happens im in a period in my life where college and keeping up my grades are my only two concerns .

I said pretty much that has to be said in this thread here : http://weight-loss.fitness.com/newcomers/31138-new-guy-here.html

Im aiming to loose weight and get buffed up ( work on my muscles , my abs etc... ) so i can feel better about myself and keep on looking good for the rest of my life .

Also i don't smoke , do drugs , drink so i hope this is going to be an easy taks for me .

So here's what i did yerstoday on my frist day of dietin :

-morning : went for a run for about 1 hour that i mixed with multiple exercises and 50m sprints ( surprisingly after almost an year of not doing any sport related activities i was able to keep up with )
came home ate soem scambled eggs and ate + drank some pineapple / pineapple juice and ate lots of fruits ( 3-4 apples and 1 banana )
-afternoon : did some exercises and ate some spinnach with boiled chicken breast in it . It was pretty good .
-lunch : i ate a salad and some fruits + a carrot

I hope this kind of healthy eating and exercising will help me out . Also i'm planning to go to the gym cause i am really motivated to get myself up and going !

Oh and some info :

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 0"
Starting weight: 196 lbs ( 89 kgs)
Goal : 165 ( 75 kgs)

TAI TAI ,
Waffle .

Later edit : I dont know much about calories . Should i start looking into it ? I think just eating healthy things and cooked meals + salads will help me loose weight and keep on track considering that before this my daily meal was composed of eating kebabs , crispy strips, burgers and lots of chocolate , sweets +drinking lots and lots of soda . Also i go to sleep ery early ( sometimes around 10 pm) cause i heard it helps your metabolism .

Hi and welcome to you waffle, you loook to be in pretty good shape as it is, but a bit of toning and buffing up never goes astray, I would say you don't need to lose much weight at all, you are just slightly (by 4kg) out of healthy weight range for your height, to lose 1kg per week you should be eating about 2500 Cals a day, which is quite a lot :)

I would focus more on your workout than your diet, you have made the switch to eating good healthy food, and that is great, along with not drinking and getting plenty of sleep and exercise you will be very healthy :)

Speak to Steve on this site about buffing up, he is the guru :)
