Basketball Workout Routine?

I am brand new to this forum and it looked like there were a lot of helpful people out there. I am hoping someone can help set me up with a good routine for a basketball workout. I am 21 years old 6' 0" 194 pounds. I am very good at shooting, dribbling, rebounding and free throws but my ultimate goal is to be able to dunk the basketball. I have about 6 months to train before the next basketball season starts at my work and i am wondering if that is enough time. I am a member at Northwest Athletic Club here in Minnesota so all the machines are available to me. I go there from 7-8 every morning before work, i usually lift 3 days and play basketball the other 2. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks!

Bill

first of all
GO TIMBERWOLVES!!! love them espacially KG
now for your issiue. first of all you need to strength your legs, espacially the hams, quads and the calves, secondly try to jump 10 minuts before and after each practice as high as you can.
one more thing 6 months are more then enough.

I'm a member at Northwest Athletic Club too...I usually go to the highway 100 club or moore lake club...which ones do you go to?

Those are the only 2 northwest clubs i go to also! I go to Hiway 100 if i go in the morning and Moore Lake if i go in the afternoon.

I'll be at moore lake this afternoon. Probably in about an hour with my 2 brothers...most likely playing ping pong, secondly basketball, and if we get around to it, racquetball.
