Basketball Training

For the past year i have been really just trying to bulk up and get a lot stonger, although i havn't gained that much wieght i look more powerfull and i am a lot stronger. Now im thinking about doing more of a high rep training routine using compound exercises to increase my muscular endurance for the next basketball season(starting this sat). Do you think his is a good way to go with my training or should i try something else.

yeah, Compound is always good.
High reps = 12.

try 3sets of 12reps for a month then go back to 5x6 and swap every month.

This will help you grow and be powerfull. Its important to train your legs well. Lunges will help you a lot, also side lunges with help you change direction quickly.

and I would add that occasional workouts can even push 15-18 reps with less weight. wouldn't do that real often, but it will help work some of the other muscle fibers that will come in handy for hoops.

but on 90% of your workouts, stick to ManofKent's rep range of 10-12.
