Back to Back Bench Day

For weight training at my school today, the coach made us do

Bench Press - 5 x 6 Tempo: 3-2-0
Seated Shoulder Press - 4 x 6
Chin-ups - 4 x 6
Barbell Curls - 4 x 10
Weighted Sit-Ups - 4 x 12

Seems like a decent workout but, yesterday he made us do

Bench Press - 6 x 3 @ 90% of 1RM
Floor Press - 5 x 5
Pull-ups - 5 x 6
Barbell Curls - 4 x 8
Weighted Sit-Ups - 4 x 12

Is this really that bad for you? Will I get stronger at all. According to him this will "blast your bench". usually id say hes full of **** but he does bench 530 so idk what to believe.
 
Seems like just about the same workout 2 days in a row to me.

Even so you can do a couple days in a row to spark results. As long as it is not a week in and week out type of thing you will be fine.
