Back Exercises with Dumbells

Hi there, does anyone know of any?

The muscle I cannot seem to work is the one behind the armpit lol

I have a picture of the muscle I mean, the one the big red arrow is pointing at.

I got told that dumbell bench press can work it, but I didn't feel a thing

thats your lats. Pull ups/chins/lat pull downs/high rows.

if you can only use dumbells, dumbell rows to a degree. you have to get some pull ups done though.

Yorks is all over this. bent over rows hit the lats some, but a vertical pull like pullups, lat pulldowns, and chinups is what builds a thick back, along with horizontal pulls like rows.

If you're using dumbells at home, you will very quickly find that your lats outgrow the weights you have available with regards one armed rows. (Unless you have a pro dumbell rack that is)

Pullups/chins, pullups/chins, pullups/chins...

Work up to some sort of fixed rep/set scheme for the pullups/chins (like 5x5), then start adding weight in small increments every or every other workout. To add the weight you use a chain or belt or something and hang plates from between your legs. That will get you strong!
