Hi,

I have been a member of this forum for 2+ years. I started my weight loss journey at 185 pounds and in July this year was at 137 pounds. Got married in July and have piled on 15 pounds since then. I now weigh @ 155 pounds.

I am planning to have a baby and want to lose the added weight before that.

I am starting on the Micheal Thurmond 6 week body makeover with excercise. I have had most success with this program but like everything else I need to be sincere and focused. I am starting this diary so I can record the ups and downs of my journey here.

This forum has always inspired and motivated me and I really look forward to all your help to make it happen for me this time again...I am tired of going around in circles with my weight just want to keep it off forever once I get to my goal weight....

Thanks Steve; there are two people I have always looked up to in this forumn you and maleficent for all the words of encouragement and motivation and advise you offer to others; it is good to have a word of encourgement from you..Thanks...

Hi and welcome back. I agree with you, consistency is the key to your new lifestyle. Remember, this is not a diet or something you win or lose. This lifestyle is all about building good habits and balance.
Sure you will have you ups and downs, we all do. You just have to remember to balance it out and stay focused.
I know when I failed I got to the point where the newness wore off or my results slowed, this is where you really need to focus and fight through that hurdle.
Like you said, this is a great place for motivation. Stick around, have some fun and keep us posted. YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Matt

Thanks Matt; it is people like you that make this forumn the place to be or look for support when you need it; because someone takes the pain to read your issues/problems relate to them and provide suggestions and offer words of support and motivation.

I will do it and definetely keep you all posted. I have a big motivation too; I wanna have a baby and do want to get this weight off before I conceive so I dont end up being huge and depressed later but instead am a hot mommy......

thanks, Christmas was a lot of fun. My two kids had a blast. The 3 yo is totally into Santa. The 1yo is still a little young but still had fun.

Eating was a different story. I ate and enjoyed myself. The thing is, it's not really bothering me. I just need to make sure I get back to it tomorrow. It's a lifestyle so I'm ok. I think I'm going for a walk in a little while. Nothing to tough, just something around the neighborhood.

Matt
