Are there pointless sets?

So, the more you push a muscle the more it will build during rest. But are there limits?
If I do 3x12 dumbell curls, reaching failure on the third set, but 10 minutes later I can do another set, is that extra set worthwhile? If I can then do another set 10 more minutes later, is that worth it? Is there a limit or should you just squeeze out everything you can for that muscle?

No, it is not worth it, by that time you should have moved on to another lift and your muscles should be more worn out anyway. Dont wait more than 4 minutes between sets. Try doing EZ bar curls, straight bar curls or hammer curls when you are done with your dumbell curls and you wont feel rejuvinated after that 10 minutes,

or try doing 10x12 with 5-10lb lesser weight. tell me if u can even lift a cup of tea afterwards...i know i cant....... thanks alot fil...
