First of all.. hi to everyone!
Ok here's my story,
i once was quite the overweight dude, (260 lbs) and managed to go down to being 170, the 2 years after the "transformation". And after an adventurous military service and a period of stress I went back to 210 lbs, and now i'm 190, (I am 6.2''). At times i feel quite comfortable with my body, and at other times I tend to want to "set myself on fire", (always in a harmless sort of speak)
anywho, for the past 2something years i've been doing pilates, a rotation of 3 programs (ball, ring/cardio, mat/cardio) around 5 times a week for about 1hour and a half, and I have to say, i've noticed very good results, but not as exceptional as I would wish for. Really this is the most effective workout plan that I've followed so far, I've become more flexible than twizzler vines,(you know, foot behind head and everything) but I would like to see some more toning...
does anyone know if i'm doing something wrong, as far as the frequency of my workouts goes? I try to work out two or three days in a row before I take a day off. Note that I am not eating excessively but I ain't starving either...
should I try to replace my pilates sessions once or twice a week with a running program and some sit-ups? i'm looking for something that would punch up my metabolism a tiny bit more....
help?
please?
