AnnaGail's Weight Loss Diary

If you don't put extra butter/salt on popcorn, it's actually a very healthy snack! :)

Good job on keeping on track so far! :D

I don't use butter on my popcorn, but I do use a little salt balance or no salt on my popcorn. I pop corn the old fashion way in a kettle on the stove. I do use a little vegetable oil though (100%).

Glad you came by! :)

How do the points work?

Maybe you could get a workout DVD for when its raining?

I use the old system that Weight Watchers had, now they don't count the fruit. They give you a book that tells your daily point target and it goes by your weight. The new WW's program goes up to 39 points and they want you to eat more protein. You get a book with the food and the amount of points it will cost you. But if you don't have a book you can type in your food choice in your search and it will give you the points for that food. (How many points for a banana) etc. If I can get my walks in, I can have two or three points more and still lose weight.

150 pounds......................20 points
150 to 174 pounds............22 points
175 to 199 pounds............24 points
200 to 224 pounds............26 points
225 to 249 pounds............28 points
250 to 274 pounds............30 points
275 to 299 pounds............31 points
300 to 324 pounds............32 points
325 to 349 pounds............33 points
350 pounds or more ..........34 points

Today I weight 149.2

1/2 cup cottage cheese 3 points
1 peach 2 points

1 banana 2 points
1granola bar 2 points

1 pack crackers 2 points

1 Salisbury steak on 2 slices of 35 cal bread 5 points
1/2 cup mash potatoes 2 points

This morning I ate rice Krispies 3 points. I took a little walk yesterday even after it rained. It was HOT in this trailer last night. I opened up a window and put a little fan on me, lol. Much different then what I am use to. It is hard cleaning house in the heat. You know the old saying when it rains it pours! I found where the ants were coming from. I had to remove everything from under the sink and sprayed Ortho spray. First I gave the little ants some food "Terro" ant killer. I have to replace my counter top it is rotten underneath. We had to order one to fit my sink cabinet and had to buy a new sink bowl, because they only cut one size, lol. There went $300 dollars and it is going to take about $260 to fix our air conditioner, lol. There goes my grocery money for the rest of the month, lol. WE have can food, chicken, fish, and hamburger patties, that should be enough for anyone. heeeee. But I have to have some eggs & potatoes :)

overtherainbow, I do have walking DVDs and other DVDs that I can use when I can't go for a walk. But it is just too hot right now without air condition. I am taking my time and cleaning house today. My kitchen is a mess!

It sounds quite a complicated way of doing things to me, but then I suppose you just get used to it, and its working for you!

I hate it when loads of unexpected expenses turn up at once, its a complete nightmare.

My entire house is such a mess at the moment, I am dreading doing it, but I will have to tomorrow.

I got my house cleaning finished except the master bedroom and bath. We have our air conditioning back on, but it turns out the circuit board in our heat pump went bad and we need to get a new one put in before winter or switch back to the old heating system that came with the mobile home.

Complicated! You mean counting points with Weight Watchers? It is just another way to count calories except you use the amount of calories + the amount of fiber + total Fat to determine how many points you use for the food you eat. You use a point finder to calculate the points. It is easy, but I have been doing it for a while.

I walked two miles today!:waving:

I got the vanilla ice cream from Mac D's 3 points, but I didn't want the Progresso Soup. So I just had a plain bologna sandwich on 2 slices of 35 cal white bread and cut up two fresh garden cucumbers with a little no salt and had a can of diet Pepsi 19 points. I say I used up my last point by having 1 piece hard cinn. candy. I will have to keep a watch on that hard candy, we got it to set out for company yesterday. And I need to eat a good home cooked meal in the evening. It has been so hot and humid, I just don't want that much right now. This morning I weight 147 pounds

If the wind is blowing a little this morning I my take my walk this morning. :)

While I sit and have my first cup of coffee I thought I would come back in and post my breakfast. I have two burritos cooking in my GT Xpress 101 :)

1 egg, 1 slice of cheese and loads of veggies
onions, banana peppers, mudrooms, and tomatoes a little no salt and black pepper. I am going to add a tsp of peanut butter with a drop of honey to my plate, yum yum!

Now that is a good healthy breakfast right there....Get er done!

Omg, you own random kitchen appliances that you actually use? GT Xpress 101, yoghurt maker, soon you will be telling me that you have a smoothie maker that isn't redundant!

Mmmmm... burritos :)

Mmmmm... burritos :)

Don't bust your breeches laughing now!!

Come on! Every good cook has a brown cookie sheet in their kitchen cabinet and covers it up with aluminum foil :smilielol5:

No yogurt maker yet, just my Gt, coffee maker, toaster, and can opener. I have three cookware sets.

Bits and pieces! Some with lids and handles some without. My tore up double pressure cooker makes a great popcorn popper, french fry maker, and home made candy kettle. :blush5:

OMG

Should I hold my breath!! I need only to lose .6 pounds and I will reach my goal of 145 pounds....

Just get a hair cut, that should get you to 145 :p

Anyways, is 145 your final goal, or just a preliminary one?

If it is your final goal, I suggest setting another goal. Even if the goal is to remain the same weight then that will be helpful. I've recently found that without a goal you can lose some motivation.

Hi Snezy, for about 3 years now my originally goal was to get down to 145 pounds without clothes and shoes. I am almost there!

This time I am thinking about trying for 135 pounds without clothes. I just got through eating my lunch and with Capri jeans, tee shirt, ankle socks and tennis shoes I weight 150.4 lbs. I want to weight 140 with jeans, top, and shoes. :)

My goal is definitely to keep my weight down!

Well I ate my light progresso soup and crackers, but I didn't eat the second sweet freedom fudge bar. I had 2 1/2 points left. I ate 1/2 cup of flesh cherries .5 points; 1/2 banana 1 point; and I ate two flesh cucumbers with a little salt balance. I had 1 point left over.

I only have 20 points and I should use them all at this point. But it is hard for me to eat when I get to this point. My weight was up this morning and that is normal for me. I weighed 146.2, I gained .6 lbs back, lol. I should have ate the other haft of the banana.

We all are given one life and it is our choice what paths we take. No worries while we sleep, but dawn of awakening we start over making our daily patterns and marks in our lives. These daily patterns and marks become habits of lifestyle and we soon forget it is our choice. Lets make the right choices eat healthy and exercise more often.
