Amomono's Fresh Start

Alright... some of you have been with us since I started a year and a half ago... and I did REALLY good for a while (losing 30+ lbs isn't bad!)... and since thanksgiving I have been on and off... but this is it - my fresh new start. I have a new schedule starting June 5 and I am committing myself to making a difference in my life.

I AM GOING TO...

- lift weights at least twice a week
- jog three times a week
- eat less fatty foods and keep my calories below 1500
- drink 64 oz of water a day
- write in here EVERY DAY!


You guys are all awesome and I KNOW that with one anothers help - we can do this!
 
***this isn't a great start, but I decided to restart after work... hey - fresh starts come at any time!!!***

good luck with your fresh start! 30 punds is great. I bet you can be back on track soon.
Eat that breakfast! Starting the day with a metabolism boost makes SO MUCH difference!

lol - I am normally FABULOUS about getting my breakfast in... I just slept in and had an appointment to go to =)

by the way... please note that I am keeping up on my promise of writing in here - for the SECOND DAY IN A ROW!!! =)

**note - second number is fat calories... I'm aiming to keep them below 300**

alright... third day in a row! If I can keep this up, I'm golden!

I also couldn't help it and after a good day weighed myself this morning... 138! the scale wanted to say 137.5 and went back and forth before finally settling (I have a digital scale) - but hey - that's better, and it definately encourages me to keep it up!!!

breakfast:

woot! I feel so good about the choices I have been making... I was grocery shopping today - wanted to grill out b/c of the fantastic weekend and was going to get hotdogs... WAY too much fat/calories... so I decided to try the smartdogs (veggie hotdogs) which were only 80 cals a piece and no fat... they don't have quite the same texture, but eh... a hotdog is all mush anyways! and I saved like 300 fat calories right there!!!

OH! and you guys have GOT to find some frozen yogurt... the stuff i picked up today is caramel pecan! (130 cals, only 30 fat cals per serving) - I mean, you just can't do much better - and it really does taste good! Maybe the first time it was a bit funny/unusual - but now i can't tell that i'm not eating the real deal... mmmm....

lol - i'm having a great day... and my butt hurts from exercise yesterday and that feels FANTASTIC =)

well - the mac n cheese wasn't quite planned... but we did use a LOT less butter than we normally do - and i made sure i stuck to the portion size...

I'm feeling good, because i think that i'm still sticking to the plan well. ESPECIALLY WITH THE FAT CALORIES =)

i need to get some extra exercise in... maybe a run after it gets dark and cools off again...
 
well... best laid plans went awry last night... I didn't get out there for a run... and I didn't stop eating after my fruit bar. My stupid fiance made these mini corn dogs and i managed to eat two of them... not too tragic in the big picture, but i'm just mad i couldn't stick with it!

breakfast:

You are sooooo Close to your goal. You'll do this my your B-day, What a present :D I love the fact that you have started the same weight as I did. I can't wait till I see those numbers on my scale. Well, have a GREAT DAY and drink that WATER;)
 
Congrats on losing 30pounds thats awsome, and well done on makeing a fresh start. Looks like your doing a great job so far.
