I started about a year ago at 189 (I'm 5'7") and have slowly slowly been losing weight since then and now I'm at 164-166
I'm finally at the point where it feels like it's making a difference.
Though I wish it hadn't taken a year to get to that point, I didn't (still don't really) know what I'm doing haha. From this point on I'm going to look towards getting help and advice so I can lose that last 30 pounds eh?
I don't have the best before pictures, since you all know how it goes once you get to that point

Not much of a difference, but you have to be proud of something

I think these are the only two photos that hint at my weight at that time

You look amazing. You can totally tell in your face. It doesn't matter if it's a day, or a year, you just have to keep trying. I started trying back in 2009, I fell off the wagon, but I'm back 2 years later and 16lbs lighter.

Keep it up ^^. I look forward to more from you!

(btw the second outfit is super cute)

It really shows. What have you been doing so far to lose the weight? I've lost 70 pounds over about 3 years now and what helps me is setting goals with a timeline. What helps even more for me is having a vacation in the midst! That really gets me back motivated so then I will pump up my exercises a little bit more, and reevaluate how many calories I'm eating and where I can cut back.

for the most part I just stopped eating as much.
I stopped getting snacks often and started eating the actual serving size. I'd fall off occasionally but I'd always try to get back on it.

For the most part I replaced a lot of meals with special k and bananas

Awesome, that sounds like my diet plan, haha. So far it works!

I love the special k strawberry crisps, they're like poptarts only way more healthy lol.

It's visible in your face, definitely. What is your diet and exercise plan like? If the length of time doesn't bother you, then keep at whatever you're doing and remember to eat healthy and do moderate exercise. A pound lost is a pound closer to a healthier weight. 8]

Also, for me 10 pounds doesn't seem like it makes a difference because I can't see where I lost it; however, when I try on new clothes, I can tell because my overall body size tends to feel/be smaller. That may be the same case for you with your overall weight loss.
