After the Fall: Oldschool returns with a vengeance

Baaaaack. So, new tendon = a new start...right? Right?

So, had surgery on Monday night came home on Wednesday. Weighed myself when I woke up this morning 250.44 lbs, that is an over 10 lbs gain in about two weeks since I hurt my arm and shoulder. I'm sure all the bags of saline during surgery and the restaurant eating I've been doing since I fell is not helping. But, I've hired a lady to cook and clean for the next few weeks and arranged a menu for her. So, ideally I'm back on track even though I can't really do much cooking myself.

Walked two miles on the treadmill yesterday after work and hopefully I'll do the same tomorrow morning first thing before my day gets away from me.

Anywaaaaaays.....I'm BACK bitches!

Great to see you back and on the mend from the fall. I'm sure the temporary pounds will be gone soon enough with the treadmill and new menu.

Has all the ice and snow around your neck of the woods melted by now?

ANoo....we just got another few inches yesterday. People around here are going stir crazy. Still cold as hell, and a few feet of ice, nice and slick, under the snow. Getting pretty tired of it all. Especially considering it makes driving dangerous, particularly when driving with one arm in a standard transmission truck.

Your diary is the first one I read when I stumbled upon this forum and it's such a lovely read! I'm so sorry about the snow and fall. Don't stress too much on the weight gain, continue to eat right and everything will fall back into place. But moving around with just one arm functioning can be a bitch. Stay positive. hugs xx

Been a long time, was reading through some older posts and didn't realize it had been so long. Hope the recovery is going well
