After eating, how long do I wait before I workout??

Just as the title says: After eating, how long do I wait before I can workout??

I've been meaning to ask this for a while...thanks guys!:)
 
I think it depends on the person. When ever you feel comfortable.. as long as you give it some time. Personally, I have to wait an hour+ even if I just ate something small.

Personally, I like to give it a 30 minute break, but I've been on long bike rides/races and ate while riding so I think whatever works for you is fine.

BTW, congrats on losing 100+ pounds!!! That's like dropping Angelina Jolie from your body! Well done!
 
I too give it a minimum of 30-45 minutes but usually no more than about an hour to 90 minutes.

The worst is when you are squatting and the shake you had decides it wants to try a reappearance! :eek: This is my new workout partner RALPH!!!
 
I give 30 mins at least but wont let it get beyond 90 mins as if you leave it too long you wont have the energy provided from the food you ate.
