aerobic training ?

if your goal is weight loss (fat), is it better to:

do an aerobic workout for 1 continuous hour

OR

do two 30 minute workouts several (3) hours apart?

i cant answer this but i cant tell u what i've heard

from what i understand...

doing intense short bursts burns more calories, like sprinting. so its like playing in a lacrosse game as opposed to jogging out 4 miles. also, intesne bursts keeps ur metabolism elevated for a longer time.

this is just what i've heard
 
I'd do them both. One day do a long run. The next day do two shorter runs. Variety in stimulus is what gets you good results.
