i'm new to the forum and to fitness/exercise! I have been going to the gym now 5 times a week (mon-Fri). I want to know if what i'm doing is the best way for me to burn a little body fat and tone tone tone! I'm 1.63cm and weigh 57kilos so i'm not really wanting to lose weight I want to be really toned.
I jog for 10 minutes straight, then I focus on doing leg exercises (sorry I don't know what the machine is called
) but I push 40 kilos with my legs, I do 15 reps, 3 times. Then I do another leg machine with 15 kilos, 15 reps 3 times.
I then jog again for 10 minutes straight and do the same leg exercises again and lastly do 10 minutes jogging to finish. The following day I will focus on my arms and not my legs. Now, am I doing the right thing or am I being a complete idiot....
Your advice would be really helpful.
