Advice for the injured

i'm 16 years old... and moderately overweight... i recently just got a knee injury and tore some of my ligaments. I have a prom coming soon (about a month) and i need help slimming down...

is there any cardio exercises that i could do without putting strain on my knees other than swimming. I dont have the convenience of going to a pool to work out due to my schedule and lack of transportation.

so if there's any advice... it would be appreciated..
