what would be a good amount to add to your deadlift in six months?i thought i should have gained more because i feel im not at the level where gains slow down. i think ive added about 45 pounds in the last six months.

Sorry, but you're not doing it right. You should have added 60 (10 lbs/month). There are articles all over the web that say this, I just can't find them right now.

I'd deload if I were you.

i havent always recorded dates for new maxes but from memory it was about 319pds now about 370pds. ive used free weight for about a year and a half but only got a barbell and started deadlifting about eigth months ago.before that was just dumbells.

This is my opinion, do whatever you feel comfortable doing without sustaining injury or putting your body in jeopardy. Some people progress faster than others, so having a universal add x amount of weight at x amount of time, to me, seems kind of stupid. Just go with whatever your body feels bro.

True.
Could be to do with how well you are recovering. Nutrition, rest etc. Could be your not doing the exercise properly.
