Wow, been like 4 months. Should make another tread that says adam is back for around 4.
Well, what has happened? Not much. I've been working out and eating ok...but I am working on it. In addition to posting, I am going to create simple rules (not too harsh) to try to follow everyday. Right now, I'm going to create 3 rules that i believe will help me to a better life style:
1) Log onto these forums and make a post AT LEAST once a day.
2) Go to bed before 12 AM (tend to snack late at night)
3) Have my last meal before 6 PM.
(4) (which i already follow) drink only h2o))
That in place, and I am glad to be back! Heh, already completed one of my rules today...
What what i've been up? Well, with school out, i only work 3 days a week. I work Saturday 8 am - 3 pm, Sat and Sun 1 pm-1130 pm (you can see why going to bed is challenged these nights, and last night i ate a little bit more than i would have liked

i am still going to try to stick to my 1800 caloric intake goal...and trying to go to the gym everyday. I read an article in men's health (yes, i subscribed) saying that its good to work out (lightly) on days that you are sore, it help with your recovery time and, in some cases, you recover faster from an intense work out.
Today being memorial day, the gym isn't open (grr) but I am planning on meeting up with a friend (unless he bails on me, which he has been doing a lot lately...(he's nearly twice as big as i am) and to go jogging before I work today.
Hopefully I am back for good, I will really try this time. I understand now that as I get older its going to be harder and harder to try to lose the weight and i need to start now. i haven't got any good excuses with my recent actives and need to pick up the ball. i can take at least 5 min out of my day to post on these forums and i do truly believe i can devote 1-2 (preferably 2 hours...1/12 of your day (well, if you count in sleep, lets say 8 hours, its actually 1/8...but who's keeping track)) to go to the gym and work out.
Now my meal plan. Haven't decided yet. I need to start eating healthier. I have some chicken breasts in the freezer...I really need to start taking out the grill and cooking those. Today, i will probaby have oatmeal for breakfast, make a whole wheat sandwich for lunch...and for dinner...well, we'll see about that.

). i will post more about personal things later on. i just want to get some of the general things out of the way. i will try to post tonight. good morning forums....i'm up quite early. I don't know why. i woke up at 5 am and went to bed at 1245 am (early for me). Hopefully i am able to get to sleep good to night at midnight (i will force myself).
