Abs..

Hello!
My roommates and I are currently been hitting the weights hard the last month and we have always had disputes about our abs. One of my roommates claims that we need to do them everday with zero breaks besides our off days (Sat,Sun). I have read loads on abs and most of what I have gathered is that Abs, like any other muscle has to be rested and you should use weight.

Basically I'm desperate to know how many times a week / how many reps I should be doing. Currently I do 4x50 regular, 3x30 sides twice (two diffrent workouts) and flutter kicks or throw downs at 3x35.

Any help would be amazing!

treat like any other muscle. add weight rather than reps

the ab work you are doing will be overtraining them, breaking them down and will be cardio rather than growth stimulating.

some people dont do any ab specific work, as deadlifts, squats, pulls etc work the core area so isolations are really necessary.
