Abs, Forearms, and Biceps...

---oops, sry didn't notice this was Women's Health... Admin could you possible put it in the right spot?---

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I'm a 20 year-old male, I weigh 169, (According to my Bat Fat Analyzer & scale) I have a 6.0-7.0 body fat % (seems strange I don't know maybe I should re-test it 6-7 seems too low... maybe not though). It's been about 4-5 years since I worked out on a everyday basis (Phys Ed. 9th Grade) At that time I had a pretty good six-pack going on. Since I'm out of school now and I don't have a job. I hadn't been working out.

In the middle of November '05 I had started working out everyday, but i was only doing sit-ups and push-ups everyday. I would usually do 100+ a night. I kept that up for about a month and a half. Then I didn't really do anything in Jan. (big mistake)

Due to the lack of money, I currently have two 10-pound wieghts that I use. I usually curl one in each arm 50-70 times numerous times a day (I would say 3 or 4 times) I also place the two 10-pound weights on my chest and do about 30-40 sit-ups, and I just started doing push-ups again (not my favorite type of exercise) doing around 40-50 a night.

I have a High Metabolism (I've been around 160-170 since like 15 years old). So, I don't have a strict diet, but I don't have a breakfast (not a morning person), but I have a lunch and usually a big dinner. I usually drink either water or Gatorade, not a big pop drinker.

Anyways, I read in a previous post hat it is hard to get tone in your abs, but What more can I do to get tone in my abs? What other things can I do o get my biceps (13 3/4 inches big) bigger, plus more tone ( there's not really any right there now)? Finally, what can I do to work on my forearms?

Thanks, I appreciate any advice.

Doing 150-210 curls is just a waste of your time and energy. Get bigger weights to curl. You can also do flys that will work your chest. Remember, arms and chest arent the only muscles on your body. Move your meals to 5-6 smaller ones throughout the day, the only way you're gonna get your abs is by a good diet.

There are some good bodyweightonly routines out there to be found. You just have to do a search and find one for you. You can make good gains with a routine of puhups, sit ups, chin ups, pull ups, chair dips, King squats and deads. You can do all of this with nothing more than a chair and a pull up bar.

Ahh, the good ol' jailhouse work out:D . I started off much the same way. A little trick I learned is to take a chair, and do push ups off of it. I works your upper pecks like incline press would.

You need more equipment, no way around it. You need a curl bar. You could stand a bench. Your best bet is garage sells and thrift stores. You'd be surprised at what people are willing to part with if you'll just come pick it up.
