Hi everyone. As you can see my name is Walt. I'm 25 and I have a problem with food, and I thought having a support system would help.
At my "known" heaviest I weighed in at 290, and it could have been more because I was always afraid of the scale. Over 12 months, I went down to 185. Just doing the simple things. Started out walking 5-6miles a every day, and eating better. I started to run more as the weight went down, and lifting weights. I still remember getting under 200, I was really proud.
But anyways...I live in Minnesota, and the winters here are long, so gaining a few winter pounds is expected. I had a treadmill I was using for the winter, but it got stuck on the highest incline. I got discouraged, because at the time I just wanted to run, not walk on a incline. I stopped working out, and eating bad again. I gained some weight.
I currently started using the "broke" treadmill, and wow, it's a workout! Just walking is tough. But the problem is that even when I was down to 185 the desire for food never left, and I'm afraid it will never go away.
Thanks for reading. Good luck and best wishes to everyone! Hopefully we all can get to where we're going.
