? about Increasing Bench

I've been lifting for 7-8 months, and I've only seen a 40 lb. increase in my bench (from 145 to 185). Is this normal, or is there something in my process that i could change? I haven't reached a plateau, and I try to mix up my workouts. I just don't know if this is normal...

f.y.i. - I usually bench 3 sets of 10, 8, and 6 reps - gradually increasing the weight.
 
If it's not broken, don't fix it.

You're doing fine, 40 lbs is a solid increase, if you haven't hit a plateau and you're still seeing results, stick with what you're doing.
 
You might try splitting the week and doing 1 heavy bench session with higher weights and reps of 150x5, 160x3 & 175x2 and one of higher reps lower weight like 100x15, 120x12, & 135x8. Go for one extra rep each workout, when you can do 3 extra reps then increase the weight and start over. The numbers are just an aproximation, I am sure you have some idea what weight amounts to plug in.
 
I agree with AJP. You say you have NOT hit a plateau, which tells me you can lift more weight or add another rep on a regular basis. You're not stuck at the same weight /rep. Hopefully you are keeping a log which would confirm if you have "stalled" or are still improving. But as AJP mentioned, if you're still getting results, stick to what you are doing.
