About ExRx

Since i can only do upper body, if the upperbody portion of their 2 day split routine, that would cover just about everything right? And also, concentrating on the dumbells would be the most effective right? Like ive said, im not new to working about, but apparently 99% of people just do it wrong haha.

You would probably benefit more from 'full body - ish' program.

The basic exercises are
bench press
shoulder press
row
pull up
Plus any core work you can do

You can do 4 exercises in one work out. And it will be good to keep it simple and learn the proper form before trying to make it more complex than it needs to be.

So if i just do those that you reccomended that would be a good place to start atleast for the next few weeks-months? The pull ups are a huge problem though. I am pretty much always too short to reach the bar haha. Sitting in my chair i believe i am just about, 4'7 haha.

Yeah I can see how that would be a problem.mIts important that you try your best to find a way to work your lats because you use them when your pushing your chair.

Yeah do that for 6 weeks, then we can step it up and do something different.
They are the basic exercises and doing them will use all the major muscles.
After this we can look at other types or grips and presses.

Would something like the barbell pull over work? Seems like dumbells would work as well. Also, would 3 times a week(mwf), 3x6 on monday, 3x12 wed, 3x6 friday work?
