Ab training schedule

What is a good training schedule for abs? What yields the best results, 3 days a week, 5 days a week, every other day or maybe every day?

Thanks!!!

ok this question is heard a lot.
I started working my abs 6 days a week, it was hard and I have done every workout 500 crunches and 500 reverse crunches.
it was madness and it was bad.
now I work my abs 3 days a week, like every other muscle in my body and I work a veraiety of exercises (11 exercises) and I do 2 sets of each exercise and 10-20 reps and I see a big improvement.

so in the end work your abs between 3-4 times a week not less, not more it can hurt you.
do only exercise you like so you will realy do the exercises and give your abs at least 1 day rest between every workout.

Thanks ace23, that is just the type of info I needed. Sorry if I put up a redundant post.

I just wanted to say that I had the opposite experience with my abs. I started working them 3 days a week, doing 3 sets of 3 of my favourite ab exercises and I found it wasn't good enough for me. I started doing them 5-6 days a week, and doing 2 to 3 sets of the same exercises and my stomach is way better than it was in no time. I'm a lean female and my stomach was flat, but the muscles weren't showing...they started to show in less than 2 weeks this way. I think it varies by person.
