The Beginning
I don't want to get too detailed with all of my life's shit, but I do love this idea of writing in an online journal. I did this before when I had lost 70 pounds and it was how I kept myself motivated. The sense of community that I had with the women who I wrote on the forums with, was invaluable for my motivation.
IN A NUTSHELL:
I'm 30 and I want to get back on track with my weight. When I was 25 I gained 75 extra pounds and lost it all with a Learn-to-Eat Weight Loss program. I have kept it off, but recently I have gained some extra pounds because of quitting smoking. I love the feeling of being in control of my body as well as respecting it. I'm excited to get started and in fact I have already just begun by having 3 big glasses of water.
I have all of the tools I need to lose this weight, but what I really need is a community of people that I can talk to about their triumphs and their woes... and mine! Group motivation is essential. I have become ( I think!?) a wealth of knowledge when it comes to diet and nutrition because I have been fascinated with the topic ever since my first weight loss stint, but I do need a lot of help when it comes to exercise. I want to incorporate exercise in to my life. This will be tricky as I have never been much for exercising. I love, mind you, being in shape and I am quite active typically.... but to "GO EXERCISE" on some kind of set schedule is not something that will be easy. Haha, that's one of the many challenges that I will face, but I'm excited to be starting!!
