a new beginning

I'm pretty new to this, so I don't really know what to expect.

For awhile now I have been trying to put off a little bit of weight. It's not a lot, but I feel as though I have some sort of mental barrier that is keeping me from my goal. Every time I make some progress, I always end up slipping and I find myself farther away from goal then ever. I'm hoping that I just need some support to help me overcome this cycle.

first thing we'll ask you is what's your goal weight... and have you put together a plan to get you there... will you be counting calories, weight watchers points, etc...

Nice to have you here, and look forward to reading about your successes...
 
my goal

My goal weight is 125. My plan to get there is to cut portion sizes and make overall healthier eating choices (i.e. not having mint chocolate chip icecream for lunch). My weight right now is 138. It doesn't seems like I have very far to go, but it feels almost impossible to get there. :( However, I am going to try to think positively about my progress and also about myself.
 
good goals to have - but honestly, if you love mint chocolate chip ce cream - no reason why you can't have a portion.. .just measure carefully :D
