Hi,
My name is Ethan, I'm 27 male and currently 378 pounds. I switched to a vegetarian (almost vegan with the exception of milk in coffee) diet a little over seven weeks ago. I think I started at about 400 but, I didn't have a scale until three weeks ago and first weighed in at 390. I'm currently eating around 2500 calories a day (+- 100 calories). I have been walking more lately but have no exercise routine to speak of and my lifestyle could easily be considered sedentary. Also, I quit smoking 4 months ago.
My question is how many calories should I try to eat for the quickest sustainable weight loss? Daily plate and nutrition data recommended about 3900 for maintenance, does that sound right to you guys/gals? I'm hoping to lose about 3pounds a week if that isn't too extreme.
Thanks
