My journey so far-270lbs to 182lbs, not long til my goal of 140lbs
I'm Amy and I thought that i would share what I have been doing over the last 6 months to achieve my goal of reachin 140lbs before i go on holiday to Florida in November

I started at 270lbs and to be honest felt pretty damn miserable, I spent my days after work just sittin in my chair eatin and feelin sorry for myself-which of course turned into a vicious cycle of eatin, feelin good swiftly followed by feelin guilty and extremely low.
I hated myself and felt my life was going nowhere, no boyfriend (and certainly no chance of gettin one in my opinion) i never went out, i literally did nothing for about 5 years.
I pushed most of my friends away not wanting to go out with them and be seen as the fat one-and even worse bumping into old school friends and having them say when i left "she's let herself go".
Havin spent the last 5 years as a virtual recluse one of my remaining friends suggested we book a holiday 2gether (something i wouldn't have dreamed of at that point) but as usual I said no, until i got home that day and got out of the bath and just looked at myself in the mirror-disgusted wasn't the word for what I was lookin at but it just suddenly clicked "u know what Amy, u did this to yourself and its no-ones fault but ur own and no-one but u is going to be able to fix it"
I joined the gym the next day and have been going 5/6 times a week ever since.
I booked the holiday and am so excited to go and it keeps me motivated thinkin about walkin around in a cute dress instead of the potato sacks i wore on a family trip a couple of years earlier.
I'm just gonna keep little updates on here to keep myself motivated and hopefully give other people a little bit of hope that as soon as u decide u can do it then u will
