well eating late at night never made me want to binge. I just wont walk around hungry. my last meal might be from 9-11 pm then im up till about 4 and by then im starved.

I hate being hungry. I think that's why I weigh so much now. I can't sleep when my stomach is cramping from hunger which it does fairly quickly once it starts to empty out. So I schedule something small to eat later in the evening and I'm fine.

Over all everything has been going well. I took a peek at the scale this morning and it was still a loss even after three chili dogs last night. I have noticed as long as i stay off sugar every thing seems to be fine. I don't want to get too confident because as soon as i do something will happen.... it always does

love the new avatar! 3D Cartman....More of him to love!

How long have you been avoiding sugar? I've considered cutting it out because I have heard that people have been getting some really good results without eating sugar. I just don't know if I could totally commit to it or not.

jenn i guess it was last march or so. The first few days are rough ill warn ya now. now i feel much better. I still have the occasional sweet though now its just a bite rather than a huge amount. Now every sweet is more of a sickening sweet. Its odd but when I cut out sugar my salt intake went way down also. one thing is you will be surprised how much more food you get without the empty calories from sugar.

Interesting, ive been thinking about cutting out sugar altogether. I only usually have sugar on the breakfast and barely a teaspoonful of raw sugar. No more sugar in the coffee took a bit of getting used to.

I'll tell ya, I have been eating sugar since i was little and my dad would bring me a coke and a candy bar every day after work. Thats not alot though through the years I started to eat more and more of it. Now cutting it out cold turkey well I don't recommend it. It feels like kicking off some drug and your body has a fit. Now its not that big of a deal. Its strange that sweets are now a sickly sweet. So now I pretty much don't use them except the occasional bite of a cookie or some such. so just cutting out the sugars and cutting my calories in close to half is pulling the weight off 2-5 or so pounds a week......

I'm trying to kick the habit too. They say it is as addictive as heroin (hmmmm, I'm not sure its THAT bad), and I do find it tough at times, but it feels so good, and when I slip it feels soooooo bad, that it inspires me to keep it going. Glad to hear that things are going great for you!! Keep up the top job ;)

Oooo, I know :p !! The guys at work are always munching on chocolate bars and don't gain an ounce. I tease them now and say "God, you smell gorgeous!!!" when they're eating it .... always gets a grin ;)

well today is going pretty well. I decided to quit taking the diet pills and man my arse is dragging. I'm thinking I'm missing the caffeine so ill have some more tea. I'm giving up sugar and not ready to go cold turkey on the caffeine.
The only craving I have been having is for a glass of wild turkey 101 proof. Think my liver isn't used to being healthy lol...

I was talking to a newly qualified trainer yesterday (Im going to be one soon i hope also) who said alchohol doesnt get converted to fat at all , it just gets burnt as a toxin fairly quick - however because your body is burning it - anything you eat with it gets converted straight to fat. So if you want to drink you can - just dont eat at the same time or within several hours :)
