Anny I never have been one to sleep like normal people. Even when I was working sleeping at night and working during the day always seemed backwards. Even though I sleep I just don't feel rested. But when I sleep during the day I feel much better when I wake up.

Pinky I started working on building a radio for school and soldering all the component and junk and drifted off about 4am lol. But it's 1pm so it's morning now lol.

Well yesterdays food was right on so I'm expecting a good week. It will break my heart if I'm back on my diet and being this good and the scale don't move..

Breakfast: 2 pears 1pm
(193 calories)

Lunch: Tuna steak with southwestern corn touch of butter. {140+360+50} 4pm
(550 calories)

Dinner: 2 broiled portabella mushrooms.7pm
(80 calories)

Snack: 3 boiled eggs, wedge of cheddar cheese. {210+120} 9pm
(330 calories)

Snack: 2 oranges. {140} Just in case I'm still hungry
(140 calories)

Snack: sheet of Lavash bread and 2 table spoons of peanut butter. {100+180}
(280 calories)

Drinks: water, green tea, glass of milk
(130 calories)

Total: 1703
Maintenance calories 3553
3553-1703=1850 unused calories

Hey there Hilly,
Is it cold where your at because I am freezing
my booty off here!Wow your doing better than me with quanity for
calories.I try to get as much food as I can get with 1200 cals which
I get more food food by eliminating my Weight Watcher double fudge
cake desert (220 cals)to maybe twice a week.

G'morning Ms. Tammy.... we got a small cold snap; the days are like 60 and the nights are dipping into the 30's. Yea I try to stay away from the packaged foods because I can normally do it that that amount of calories and get a lot more food. The only quick meals I use are the Indian ones just because I haven't looked up how to make it yet.
 
Well today is going pretty well. I'm up to lunch. The tuna steak is a prepackaged frozen from walmart and is very good. No fish taste at all. The last package at the bottom someone was being lazy and it was an ounce too big so that is going to off set my calories just a bit. No big loss I just wont have those last two oranges I was thinking and everything would be fine. I wouldn't normally worry except I'm shooting for a perfect week staying right on my numbers to tell myself mostly just that I can do it. I'm shooting for a 10 pound loss this week. I know I know but I'm a big guy so i don't think it's any more dangerous that alot of you ladies losing 3 or 4. The scale tells me I have already lost 3 since Friday so I think it's very doable. Then again by Friday I may have only lost a pound....... so it's kinda up in the air.....
 
Wow that's awesome. I'm going the opposite way and easing into things. I like you're full tilt attitude. I've had back to back really good days though despite the limitations on what I can eat.
 
Well the next few weeks money will be tight since I don't get paid until the 30th. So I'm going as strong as I can because the next week or two I will be limited to the normal things like hamburger meat and some canned veggies and such. I got the food scale so it will help with not over estimating things. I do have different things in the fridge like venison and some monk-fish and some pork so Ill just have to really check the weight and calories and go from there.
 
Sparks people really helps with cal counting. Deer is very lean, we eat quite a bit of it. I still do hamburger. Only about 1/2 a cup at a time. I don't remember the cals right off,but you can do it! That's what I have to do all the time!!:D

Ok fill me in on how you make tuna steaks,seasoning
and such?You said it doesn't have that fishy taste and I love fish
that doesn't have a fishy taste.The only fish I have eatend sice the
diet is tuna salas made with boiled eggs onion "WHITE tuna lite
miracle whip a tad of vinnegar a tad of mustard yummy!
COngrats on -3 lbs since Friday I have dropped 1 since Friday.

Tammy I got the tuna steaks at walmart in the frozen fish section. It's a bag of three or so cut in 4ounce steaks at 140 calories each. I think you can get fresh tuna steaks at just about any fish market though you will have to go through all the hassle of weighing them and figuring the calories. Tuna is one of those fish you can cook and eat rare or med rare. the more you cook it the more it will taste like the one in the can. Just remember fresh tuna since it's not been packed in water or oil will get dry and crumble. I know that most people say ewwww to rare or med rare fish but tuna has a texture more like beef so it goes well. I guess thats why they use it in sushi. Anyhow.....

I take the steak and put some salt and crushed red pepper flakes and some Mrs. dash and put it on both sides. Then i put it in a sauté pan with some no calorie cooking spray and just cook it as done as i want it. The cool thing about fresh tuna is it's a pink color so you can watch the doneness through the meat. Once the first side is cooked about a quarter of the way through I just flip and get the other side about the same. with the cooking spray and Mrs. dash it gives it a blackening fish effect and it's good. You could just put on some fresh lemon juice or make some light tartar with some light mayo or salad dressing, dill or sweet relish, maybe some dill sprigs if you have them.
I have also made a oriental style tartar sauce with the light mayo, some soy and some grated ginger... A small amount of mustard in a sauce gives it a yummie taste as well.
 
Well everything is going well other than I'm full at the moment and I'm only up to 1233 calories and I need to go to bed soon. Don't know if I should make something real quick for 300 or so calories or just let the calories stand as they are....... hmmm...
 
I may give that a try.I don't like raw fish sushi ect but
the tuna steaks sound yummy saute!
I tried something a little different today and I
had my bigger calorie meal which was dinner for lunch
and lunch for dinner to see if it would help with hunger
ect and get the major calories out of the way so I can
burn them all day? So far I feel about the same but I am
always alot more hungrier around lunch than dinner so what
the heck! Have a gr8 night (again lol) Tammy:D
 
Well today over all was a good day. I normally build my meal plan for the day the night before but with school I have no idea just yet. I think my stomach is shrinking because I never got to all my food. I'm just too full and I'm not losing weight just to eat when I'm not hungry. Well with the food I did get down my calories came to 1563. So with my maintenance calories being 3553 that leaves me 1990 unused calories. I can deal with those number even though they are a little low for me. G'nite all......
 
Wow.. can use that for vanilla ice cream.... durian crepe... or chocolate fudge! oh yummy.

sorry just had my lunch lol. craving for sweet stuff.
