A Good Way Of Losing Weight?

Hello i'm new to this forum,

I just started losing weight, but I wonder if one of you maybe got some tips for me.

Maybe you got a good site for me?

Thanks in advance!

Buglu, well that depends on a lot of things.

First off, how much weight do you feel you need to lose ? A few lbs ? Or 100+ ? This would make a difference.

Another thing...... Do you think you are overweight because of eating too much, or the wrong stuff ? OR, from the lack of exercise ? .... or both ?

Anyway, the best way to lose weight is to eat the correct amount of healthy foods, and to exercise, preferably with both some cardio, and resistance training.

Finally, you need to eat and exercise like this > For the rest of your life, for it to help you > for the rest of your life.

Please don't waste your time with any kind of fad diets.

Their is no such thing as a silver bullet for good health. You will save yourself a TON of time and heartache to just accept this right from the start, and get right to making some permanent life changes :) Even a "small" life change, is infinitely more helpful, than some kind of crazy, temporary fad diet.

If you can elaborate on where your at now, we could probably help you a lot more....

Peace,

Fish

Sorry for my low-detailed information. But to be honest I went from 115kg to 90kg then back to 105kg and then back to 85kg and now i am 95 again... So i just started losing weight again. But I will ask a different question. How do I stop falling back in an old partern? I had mental strength. But somehow I lost it. Tips will be useful :)

My best advice, would be to make smaller changes, that are easier to live with, and to get used to. > Even IF it takes much longer for you to lose any weight to begin with.

Health and fitness needs to be a life time thing. Short term changes are basically pointless.

BTW, for myself, I could totally see falling right back into old (bad) habits, if I had completely reached my goal, and had nothing left to shoot for.

But the way I see it, my weight loss required about 10% of the effort...... gaining massive amounts of lean muscle is the other 90%, and this will keep my attention for a LONG time. In fact, I already know I'll never gain as much muscle as I'd like to have.... So that means, I'll have something to keep me busy (focused) way down the road :)

Granted, most people don't want to look like ZKK :) But you could take up any sport or past time, that involves strenuous physical activity. Then set both short, and long term goals for that past time.

Hey, besides all of this > If you are going to go and put in all the hard work to get in good shape, you might as well use it for something healthy, and fun, once you have achieved it :)

If I have learned one thing, it is that weight loss is personal. What it takes to lose weight will differ from person to person. There are so many factors involved. Stress, Environment, children, time...l could go on and on. This goes a long way in explaining why we yo-yo with our weight. After years of up and down, after a back injury that left me with nerve damage to my legs, making it impossible for me to run or ride, and after a shoulder surgery that has left me with Adhesive Capsulitis, I finally found it. For me it was wheat. I literally gave up anything made with wheat. I struggled for about a week but eventually got over the cravings. Then it happened. Even with extremely limited exercising I have dropped 13 pounds in 4 weeks.

Just stick with it. At times you won't be perfect, but thats okay. Just keep going. Eventually you'll beat it.

Hey There,

I am 2 weeks into an incredible 8 week Challenge that is the permanent solution to weight management! Whether you would like to lose weight, gain lean muscle or maintain a healthy balance its for everyone.

I'm having a ton of fun experimenting with new foods and eating "clean". As well, I am using the World's most powerful 100% natural whole food beverage and smoothie to allow my body to have the micro and macro nutritents it needs. I am fueling my body so it will use fat cells as its fuel source instead of muscle.

My results in the last couple weeks have been amazing!!! I'm exercising, eating great and feeling 10X's better than ever!

As a stay at home mom for 4 children under age 5, I couldn't have asked for anything better :)

Cheers,

Chels,

You just need to really be stronger than ever...you will surely never fall back if you have the determination and the driving force for that is decision :) Hope this helps.

I am in a little bit of a different place, I am needing to lose quite a bit of weight. But so far I have lost 33 pounds since January. And the one thing I have learned in this process is that it takes work and discipline. Or at least if you want it to last.

But I learned that at my age you really can not outwork bad nutrition. it takes some prep and planning to eat right, and I still have a pretty aggressive workout routine. I follow a guideline for eating and use a lot of body weight workouts with high intensity. But that is just me...

There is two main rules that works with everyone regardless of your time, health issues, etc. #1 eat healthy (we all know what this is) #2 you must burn more than you eat, fat is stored calories that didn't get burned and the only way it is going to come off is if you use it. So if you are eating 4,000 calories a day and burning 4,000 calories a day you never got the chance to burn anything from your body. You would have to eat 2,000 calories, burn 4,000 and 2,000 of those burned calories would be from your body.
