hey thanks slim2009!I plan to go slow and steady, increasing my fitness levels and slowly reaching my goals......well what r ur plans?

...dont call it a comeback. I've been here for years. ( Sorry, had to use the old LL reference. )

Anyway, welcome back. I see you lost a few before but didnt stick with it. Make sure you have a good plan you can stick to and do not get burnt out. That is why so many diets fail. You need to learn a lifestyle of eating and exercise. Small steps will lead you to the goals you want to attain.

Good luck and keep us updated.

Thanks Matt for your encouragement, well ya i lost a few pounds and then somewhere i lost the motivation....been regularly irregular with exercise:smash:and then got depressed, its a vicious cycle that i don't wanna continue with....that's why a comeback with good attitude and motivation ;)
Hey Matt, your weight loss is just amazing, congrats guy:cheers2:

thanks for the kind words. I feel good but I'm still learning how to maintain. I have learned that this is something you do not "win", there is no finish line. It's just more of a balance.

What is it about exercise that is irregular? Time, board, getting there. Exercise can be squeezed into anyone's day. You just have to prioritize and find some time. I always said i didnt want exercise to cut into my home life. I am now commited to working out at lunch and during breaks. I will walk during my 2 fifteen minute breaks at work and will lift weights or do more cardio for 45 minutes at lunch. I dont let anything de-rail me from this. Sure lots of people go out to eat or shop at lunch but i realize this is my time for exercise.

Like i said let me know what it is. Stay focused, you can do this.

Matt

I totally agree with you....that there is no finish line, its a way of lifestyle change as well as maintaining it throughout lifetime......My irregularity with exercise is that I really doubt my results....like I love doing Turbo Jam but then there are my near and dear ones..who r always coming with a whole lot of motivating suggestions like" I don't think so u will lose weight with this workout...try walking, cycling or anything but not this workout....or it is a must to join gym to lose weight!" All these things bother me and I start doubting my own efforts :(.......... but not any more..... I will keep you updated with my progress..... thanks :)

Just stopping by to say hi. :waving:

Dont doubt yourself, believe in yourself and you can accomplish your goals. I have a great quote for you but need to get to work. Should be back later.

Enjoy the day.

Well i won't doubt myself this time....often it seems that i am my worst enemy.....its all about smashing my negativity:boxing:,eager to know the quote, i like yours "Motivation comes from within":iagree:

i am regular with my exercise- 20 minute cardio for the last four days.... will slowly increase the intensity levels

Right now doing Turbo Jam 20 minute workout......feeling much better:hurray:

Welcome endurance,

I too am here for the second time round, and slowly working up on the exercise stakes.

Look forward to seeing you around!

Great job on the cardio. How is the diet going? Mine wasnt to good over the weekend. I went to the Patiots game yesterday and tailgated. Not too bad, we made fajitas and i only had two. Wheat wraps, about 6 ounces of steak and some cheese and sour cream. Just three beers since i was driving.

Do you have an official weigh in day? I picked Wednesday so we'll see what the damage is this week.

Enjoy the day.

Matt

Hey Matt:waving:,I am just concentrating on my exercise right now, wanna be regular with it.I surely have weigh in day- Saturday for me:coolgleamA:,will start checking out next week
Seem to have enjoyed the weekend:newangel:

Have a nice day Matt:seeya:

Done with my workout---- 50 minutes recumbent bike + 10 minutes treadmill

I am thinking of doing Turbo sculpt on alternate days ,can anyone suggest me when to add weight training in my workout? Is it necessary to do it daily or on alternate days? Also does a 20 minute cardio workout or any cardio before weight training benefecial ?

Hey just checking in. You are doing great on the cardio, keep it up. As far as the weights go, i would say you should start them also. Make sure you read the sticky thread on weight training. Very good info and if you still have questions you can ask around and there are more than enough qualified people to help out.

You are always posting in the early AM. Where ya from?

Matt
