Hi there endurance..
I've just started doing pranayams...umm 5-6 mins in the morning...how do u manage to do for 45 mins?? what all are you doing in pranayam? I do kapalbharti and anulom vilom only...dunno if it actually helps but since evryone seems to be doing it nowadays I said why not to try..
 
Hi fellas, long time since I last updated it ,I thoroughly enjoyed the ganesh festival with rituals and sweets and family get together,was about to start my exercise regime but then I have been down with flu......and then with the antibiotics I had diarrhoea happens with ampiclox :( I am on my road to recovery guys......Well had nothing to say,so I just thought to be a silent spectator,though I used to visit the forum daily, can't help I am addicted to it :)

Hi dear, first of all let me congratulate you for losing huge amount of weight and sticking to your goal,Hats off to you :)I am glad that you are doing pranayam....I do it for 45 minutes,I guess you will also be able to do it with a bit of regularity...Even I used to get bored with it at the initial stages....I think we don't have patience and and its hard to concentrate...but now I have mastered it :)I started with the pranayam dvd of Swami Ramdevji...Its great to start with....I do bhasrika, anulom-vilom,Kapalbhaati,bhramri,omkar and so on..I think you must be aware of baba ramdevji,being an Indian!Or you may join some yoga classes who teach pranayam,its better to learn them under somebody's guidance!Hope this helps,do let me know your progress :)

Tell me about ur program...wot all are you following? I aint going to any expert, just doing my own stuff.


But how to resist good food yaarrr heheh its so damn tuff! roz roz ghar pe things are coming nah, now temme how not to eat them! you know what I mean!!

I am from Pune- the oxford of east :),Well ganesh festival is all around maharashtra and now it is not limited to maharashtra alone,it is celebrated worldwide and in many other states also.....This is a festive season dear after this navratri and then dussera then diwali and then christmas.......my goodness its festive season around and believe me its hard for me to resist food,I have tried each and every diet but then I realised I can't just follow it ,I have lost 8 kgs just by exercising, no limitation on food or no cravings just I ate in moderation :)
 
Late update but can't help was a bit busy with work, so I did my turbo jam today :)My second day after recovery so taking it slow......I was so excited today to hear from a long time friend,spoke to her after 12 years .....Thanks to facebook and orkut !Its her wedding in december and a great new goal for me to lose weight ;),So I am super duper excited bout it........This is motivation time for me atleast,cause I get short of motivation ,I dunno why????Anyways

hows everyone doing?Time for my update , today's workout-

Turbo jam cardio party-twice(90 mins. total):hurray:
I have been pondering on my energy levels since I have been motivated by my friend's wedding to lose weight.....and I am astonished at my own enthusiasm...But I can't understand my mind for that,I mean why do I still need a reason to get my enthusiasm back on track?It's like to have as many occasions so that I can lose weight??weirdo!What's the thing I am missing out??????????????????????Suggestions are welcome :)

I am fine I know you must be busy with durga puja and stuff,big festive season,I wish to see durga puja in bengal someday.......You are doing 4 days workout in gym and its great,I do exercise 6 days a week, 3 days strength training 3 days cardio.......cross trainer or aerobics in cardio stuff............I did take up a session with a dietitian but I am bad at following diets....I simply focus on being regular with my exercise ......with exercise I eat everything in moderation...Take good carbs and fats ,They are essential for body.Please do not avoid them completely.....Do take a session with dietitian so she can help with your diet.........

Its been a long time since I had last updated,it was festive season with all the friends and relatives visiting the house with lots of gifts and sweets,So I have gained 3kgs during this time and I am ready to be right back on track of weight loss.......Exercise during this time was totally off so I am starting slow with 20 minutes of exercise for this week

I did pranayam today in the morning a good 45 minutes and had dalia as my meal throughout the day,cause i have bombarded my stomach with a lot of sugar,carbohydrates and fried stuff during diwali, so its a pay back time :coolgleamA:
 
I am still regular with my pranayaam sessions but still feel lazy to move my ass for some cardio :), am starting today with 20 minute workout session :)
 
I am on a dalia diet from last 4 days , cause my weight had shot up after eating a lot of fried and sweet stuff in Diwali...........
I checked my weight on 26th october- It was 74.3 kgs
Today the weight is 71.3 kgs
I take 4 tsp. of oil / day for cooking dalia
And usually put veggies in it along with dal,
I am feeling very light and am happy about the results so far, I do Take 3-4 servings of fruit daily to add on and have not touched the fried sweet stuff since 4 days :)
 
Yesterday I did enjoy my meal as the question of calories was out of my mind,being a SUNDAY.......Today I am back with my diet and calorie counting......Did my 20 minutes of Turbo to start with........

I know how you feel, I am currently in the same position when it comes to losing weight and then the motivation just disappears. I just don't know how to start back up but I know this is something that I want like no other! Good luck with all that you do!
