i think it was like new bride or i dunno.... i cant remember it could have been new bride. but im not saying it was for sure because im not sure.:confused: lol
 
my meaurments and weight loss for the week.

i weighed my self.... last week i was 210 (found out my original scale was wrong and all that..thought i was 194) but i weighed my self last night, IM 207 NOW!!!!

45.5 inch hips
43 inch chest
14 inche bicep
24 inch thigh
17 inch calves

im not sure if i measured right, but thats the measurments i took.

this week january 23rd to the 30th... i lost 3 great big awesome pounds ;)

its been about a week since ive posted... because i have been too busy working... AND JOGGING!!!! my boyfriend is a wrestler who works out and trains for about 2 hours a day on monday, tuesday wednesday and thursday and leaves friday saturday and sunday for rest. he knows what work outs work , so he has got me doing a program where we jog every night, unless it is nice enough to bike, then we bike, for 20 minutes each day. he has me eating a diet which consists of eating cereal for breakfast, an apple and cheese for a snack, cereal or tuna sandwich or egg salad sandwich (low fat mayo)for lunch and a glass of milk 1%...and then my choice of chicken, or fish with veggies of my choice (i pic broccoli or cauliflower most days). i eat apple slices when i am hungry in between.

and it is definitly working. i have lost 8 pounds!!!! i am thrilled!!!!... i weigh myself once a week and tommarrow is my wiegh in day... so i hope i have lost another 3 poundsthen i will have reached my current goal...then my next goal will be set at 193 pounds ....i cant believe it is working i am so happy. ive only been on my deit for 3 weeks and ive lost 8 pounds!!!!! HURRAY FOR ME... and why havent people been posting lol THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR CLUB...where is the support!!!!:)
 
hi :) i just caught site of this thread and was like hey! im under 21 :) yay!!! im 18 and im 105 kilograms right now, i dont know what that is in pounds or anything...um my current goal is 85kgs but my long term goal..hm...80kg...i guess...my current goal and long term dont really differ..i shoot for the long haul lol or something...:p anyways...im an aussie btw :p is that naughty :eek: lol. anyways i think that collective idea is good and if im not too late id like to join/help out...:cool:
right now im doing a fruit n veg only diet...some ppls call it a negative calorie thing (which i dont really find that believable...to good to be true kinda)..anyone heard of that?
 
hey fattrapped. no one is ever to late to join this club, we are a club for motivation and to have each others backs and give each other advice... i have never heard of a negative calorie thing, but hey , fruits and veggies are very good for you, just be sure to eat ones with protien such as legumes and so on...protien gives you energy. you should just try to make sure you are taking in 1,000 cals a day or more or your body will go into starvation mode and will start to store fats and sugars onto your body instead of taking off fat. i am 19 and im a big girl too..i weigh 202 pounds which is 91.5 kilograms... you say you are 105 kilograms which is 230 pounds...i know what its like... and all of us here are here to give you support and say DONT GIVE UP,,,i jog every night, unless it is nice enough to bike, then we bike, for 20 minutes each day. i am on a diet which consists of eating cereal for breakfast, an apple and cheese for a snack, cereal or tuna sandwich or egg salad sandwich (low fat mayo)for lunch and a glass of milk 1%...and then my choice of chicken, or fish with veggies of my choice (i pic broccoli or cauliflower most days). i eat apple slices when i am hungry in between. i also drink 8 cups of water a day, it makes you lose weight much faster, you should give it a try... it will make u have to pee (LOL) alot for the first few days but then your body should get used to it... i make my goals smaller i make them about 7 - 8 pounds at a time because it seems faster that way.

and it is definitly working. i have lost 8 pounds
 
congrats on the 8 pounds:) no wonder though, u sound very strict and motivated :) i love the sound of ur diet, although im a vegan so it cuts out most foods, the negative diet isnt really that different from my normal eating habits i guess. do u find it hard to stick to such a strict regime? My cravings completely make me cave in :eek: and so does boredom :( ive been doing some exercise bike workouts at the gym and stuff theyre really fun, i also want to start swimming and stuff i heard thats really good exercise and its low impact or something so no strains :) thanx for the water tip too :) i could probably drink a bit more, ive only recently given up soda drinks so i can incorporate water instead now. so how does the group goal work?
 
in this group... we weigh ourselfs once a week, no matter what day, but we post our weight that we lost every sunday...or what we gained. our goal is to lose 2 - 3 pounds per week, but there is not alot of pressure... we just motivate each other and when we either dont lose one week or gain, we help each other out by reminding you of the things you have to do... and tell each other to not give up... we are basically just a club to help each other out and talk about the hard parts of dieting and try to help each other through it...

i dont know why no one has been replying but you fattrapped, but i think everyone else who was once in this club must have given up.. but i honestly hope that you dont do the same, i check this thread almost everyday, and you are the only one other then me who has been sticking to it.

i have a few diet tips that i came across that you probably know already but if not, i hope they help you out....

1. eat close to the same amount of calories per day... if you eat too many calories lower then your regular amount, your body will go into starvation mode and store all the calories you eat the next day YOU will not lose as much weight, if any.

2. eat 5 servings of veggies and fruits per day.

3. watch for portion size..

4. dont skip meals ...(refer to question 1)

5. drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water per day... helpful tips... always have a full water bottle within arms reach...because you will be more likely to drink that way.

6. keep a food journal. write down EVERYTHING you put in your mouth. because then later you can spot the mistakes and try to do better the next day.

7.20 minutes of cardio workout a day... remember doing ANYTHING is better then doing nothing.

8. cut soda out of your diet completely.. if you feel you cant cut carbanated drinks out of your diet, immediatly switch to diet or low calorie carbinated flavoured water.. i drink peach flavoured water, and its actually really good. there are too many empty calories in soda...


i hope these hints help you to your goal...remember, the more you work out, the faster you will lose the weight... and if you do work out... dont go by what the scale says.. go by how you feel, because you could gain muscle and lose fat and the scale could tell you you lost 1 pound but you could look 5 pounds thinner.

Thanz for the tips :) theyre really great lol my problem was the second i read the one about the soda i was just about to take a sip of soda ...theres no way i can give up, its only diet coke but i tried to give up and the lack of caffeine totally boosted my appetite, id prefer to risk the few empty calories than to get a whole bucket load of extra ones :eek: i am cutting down though
With the calories, i have a calorie counting book and it says the amount u can have to not gain weight, gain weight and lose weight, ive been following the number to lose weight which is still a fair amount, its a nationally recognised health counter and recommended by all the important ppl...whoever they are lol, but is it telling me the wrong thing? its only 1000 calories less than what i need to maintain my weight..so im ok right?

well, just make sure you are getting the calories from the right foods.. not the wrong ones... eat foods with less calories and spread it through the day... because if you dont your body could easily go into starvation mode and store all the calories into fat...which you definitly dont want...try eating several small meals a day... apple slices or dried fruit or almonds to snack on. doing this will help your metabolism faster and make you burn calories and lose weight much faster....

as for the soda... diet soda is better then the other soda.. but you should still try to get off it ... try carbonated flavoured water or there is this soda called "diet right" you should try that too they advertised it on the biggest loser. but if you seriously want to be healthy ... any kind of soda isnt healthy even if it is diet. trust me i was a heavy soda drinker, but once you start drinking the 8 glasses of water per day, i doubt you will be thirsty enough to drink soda... you will already be peeing to much.. also if you get cravings, try chewing sugar free gum, or brush your teeth after you eat dinner.. doing so will make your mouth feel clean and it will make you less likely to want to eat.

i made the soda excuses too. but if you seriously want to lose weight, you have to get off it. first think about how many soda you drink a day... if it is more then 3... that isnt good. try to cut it down to one, and it can be a daily treat with your dinner, AS LONG AS ITS DIET. if you think you will crave soda more then once a day... split the can in half, have half a can with your first craving, and the last half with dinner.

remember i am here to help. i went through what you are going through.it gets easier over time.

oh salt is another thing, it makes you retain water. dont add extra salts to food. doing this could make you lose an easy 5 - 10 pounds just in the extra water your body is holding. i was on herbal magic and i learned ALOT from it...

if you have a craving, have a little taste of what you are craving, but dont binge it... if you dont indulge in your cravings a little bit, it could call for an early weigh loss relapse. if you seriously want to lose weight, find the will power...

remember...
you dont want to eat something just for 5 minutes of pleasure... onceits gone its gone...and then you will feel guilty because "what was the point"

or when you get hungry..make sure its ur stomache telling you not your head, if its your head, throw on some dance music and dance. it will get your mind off it and burn calories.

i will add them to the club so you can see what i currently look like @ 202 pounds... i was 210 pounds.. ill put a before and after on here! k hun then maybe my 8 pound loss can motivate you to lose 8 pounds too... i know it is hard, but you have to try your best:D
 
Thanx sooo much for the tips! :) I definitly think im improving on having the mulitple small meals after yesterday, and i usually prefer low calorie foods anyways, just so i can have more :eek: hehe
about the soda though, u know how theyve come out with a new caffeine free diet coke? is it the caffeine thats bad in the soda or what? because wouldnt caffeine free just be carbonated water? I was thinking about switching to that instead...just to sort of lower the damage bar while im still on it (trying to cut it out). Usually i find i dont drink the soda cause im thirsty, cause i love water...but i find it helps keep me from eating a whole lot...oh also, i hate the bubbles so i shake it up..does that to anything in making it better or is that wishful thinking :eek: hehe i am getting better though, i used to be going through an 18 pack of cans in 3 days!:eek: but now im down to 2
im really good with salt though :) so no probs there :p i always by "no added salt" things and even though it doesnt mean theres no salt..it definitly cuts it down to a natural number:p oh wow willpower..that word is like a dream lol, i do have it somewhere in here...but sometimes u just look at food and ur like oh that would be sooooooo good...but no! i will be strong!:cool:

Thought id drop in and say hi again..though noones posting...also i was just wondering...how much does "that time of the month" affect ur weight loss...cause typically aunt flo has appeared the exact week that i started losing :( no fair....so i dont know how much it will affect the 2-3 pounds this week

being on your period makes u retain water so it will appear onthe scale u gained wait when actually u dont n u are only up in weight during your cycle..
it sux but it happens to everyone
