77lbs down and counting!!!!!

The end of 06 is fastly approaching... Since September 05 I have dropped 77 lbs... no surgery no fad diet no pills...strictly hardcore commitment to my health.

Right now I eat 6 meals a day packed with protien (recently new development ;) ) ... I work out 6 days a week and 1 1/2 hour on average give or take a few depending on the day and routine.

Breakfast -

South Beach Breakfast Bar or 2 Egg whites and whole wheat toast or Protien Shake

Mid Morning Meal
Peanuts or Apple Slice and Peanut Butter, or handful of trailmix

Lunch
Grilled Chicken Salad or
South Beach Wrap

Mid Afternoon Meal
Pria Bar LOW CARB or
Slice of Cheese or
Cottage Cheese Single Pack or
Trail Mix

Dinner
Grilled Chicken with and Vegetable or
Vegetables Sauteed with Brown Rice or
South Beach Wrap


Snack
Sugar Free Jello with Sugar Free Cool Whip or
Pretzels or Lite Popcorn


Water - I drink a TON OF WATER.....about 8 12oz bottles a day!

sounds like you've got a great plan that's working wonders for you-- congratulations oon your success so far... can't wait to read more from you :D

Is this the south beach plan you're following? It's not low carb but it seems to be smart carbs...
 
Its more smart carb yes... you know I really just eat them out of convenience because im constantly on the go and I need the protien because I work out so much.... I have no time to cook... but Im a chef lol which was most of the problem.
Im trying to get back into cooking but healthy this time around!!!

Betty it sounds like you are doing really well. Congrats :) I'm also very often on the go and have pretty much the same diet as you not counting the south beach stuff. Keep going strong *hugs*
