370 to 228; still need to get past plateau

Kira, don't worry!

You know how many times I've tip-toed, and even fallen back into, the area of 'tight clothing that used to be loose on me'? Its all part of this process as you learn exactly what your body needs and doesn't need. You're closing in on maintenance mode which, from my understanding, can be very tricky to get a handle on for the first few weeks.. almost harder than getting into the rhythm of successful weight loss. Not to mention that this is an area you'll have to master for the long run as it'll maintain your endgame goals as well as keep you there indefinitely.

I've been on the cusp of that for a while now, but I haven't officially broached it yet as I've been battling a few plateaus and some annoying water weight these last few months :\ Erg.

Don't be upset. It's an individualized learning curve for all of us. Everyone is different and you just have to work at it until you find the best way it'll work for you. Gains are most likely to be expected, but do NOT let it get you down! It's natural and only part of the process.

Keep up the good fight and you will find that equilibrium eventually, Kira! :)

Thanks frogged :)

Unfortunately Im up to exactly where I was when I started this thread.

What a lame feeling it is to regress so much -- I've regressed constantly but eventually got it within 10-15 pounds to go back down. Double that, and that's where I am.

The problem I am feeling is that I am so tired -- and when I think about the fact that I have to relose weight [i've already lost], I just get exhausted thinking about the work it takes.

Today will be a rough day for me.

Good job, Kira :) Take it slow! There's no rush

Maybe you're feeling exhausted because you believe there's a time limit associated with reaching your goals? Well, there isn't!

As long as you keep your focus, it doesn't matter how long it takes as you will be successful eventually :hurray:

Rough periods are just part of the process (believe me - I know!), but just ride them out and you'll be fine!

Looking forward to more updates

Stay strong, Kira!
