3 lines going across my stomach

Whiling i was doing my ab workouts
i noticed 3 light red lines going across my stomach
my father tells me it was my fat
cause i used to have a tummy
for some reason its not going away.. anyone know to make it go away? any cream, medicine, workout
 
no creams or medicine...the only way to lose fat is to burn calories...and cardio is the best way to do that...

swimming, biking, running, all great ways to burn fat. a proper diet will help the process.
 
they are permanent as far as I know, but they aren't always red...they fade with time for most people that I've known with them.
 
Ive had these too, especially after eating a bit too much in one go! Generally I find that they come and go, depending on your diet and how much you eat. Eating a lot at once is sure to make your tummy expand, and so cause stretch marks. Keep meals small but eat them often.
 
I just want to add that if you stand up straight and look at your stomach. If you then flex the trunk forward, notice the lines that form.. if they did not form, you would not be able to bend at the waist.

A few years ago when I was new to training, I asked a friend what these lines were and why won't they go away! If they go away, my stomach would be so tight I wouldn't be able to bend at all.

BTW, those lines may also be a sign that when you are sitting you relax the abdominal/lower back muscles and let your body fall forward. Thus this puts the lines in the stomach as the skin folds and if done for prolonged periods of time, those lines will stay there until you start sitting up straight! Hopefully this helps!
