I am a 5'4" woman entering my 25th year here in 2006. Throughout high school and college, my weight has been a roller coaster. Junior year in high school, I was 149. Then Senior year, I was 135. By Christmas in my freshman year of college, I weighed 165. Back down to 150 Sophomore year. Trained for a biathlon Junior year and at peak was 138. Slowly, over the past 4 years, my weight has plateaued to about 155. I don't like it, it doesn't fit my frame, but I'm become so used to it that I'm afraid my body won't be able to change. Not to mention, I am not very good at organizing my food into the correct caloric intake. Help! I'd love to lose 25 pounds in my 25th year... and I wanted to join a place like this where I could talk about the struggles and hardships I will undoubtedly endure. I'm kind of lost as to where to start. I don't mind exercising, so I'll incorporate that back into my life, but it's the food and caloric intake plus loss of calories due to exercise that throws me. I feel like there's some perfect mathematical formula that some people know that I do not... Help!
