2 weeks down n my progress so far.

Hi everyone,
I'm 2 weeks down with my weight loss program. I've lost 8lbs so far. I've lost an inch and a half on my chest, 2 inches off my upper torso, 1.5 inches off my waist but none off my hips sadly. But all the same, i feel happy with my progress so far.

Probably because people didn't see it, because there was somebody else who posted shortly after you for example.

That said, congrats on your weight and inch loss. You seem to be doing well. Keep it up!
 
Thank u for replying.. u have no idea how happy it makes me. yea, i'm on a fairly strict diet and i work out for about 90-120 mins, 6 days a week. Hopefully i can sustain this. i'm hoping to drop at least 30lbs by oct.

No its not ur computer. i took off the pics quickly after i put them. i didnt find much of a difference so i jus got embarrassed and took them off.
 
Do your muscles develop even with cardio?

My weight hasn't changed at all since last week! I have avoided weight training for the last 2 weeks hoping to drop some weight. I was worried that if i did weights it would increase muscle mass and hence i wouldn't go down on the scale. But it turns out even doing just cardio is not bringing any change to my weight. I work off about 1300-1500 calories a day.. 70-80 mins on the elliptical, 20 mins on the treadmill, 15 mins on the exercise bike. and 10 mins for a few stretches and twists. I do this six days a week, monday through saturday. I try and keep my calorie intake between 1200-1500 a day. I was 164.56lbs(friday) end of last week. 162.58lbs(monday) beginning of this week. 163.90lbs as of today. Am i even on track? i started my weight loss program on 24th july at 169.40lbs. i was hoping to be 157lbs AT LEAST by 24th aug. wonder if thats even goin to happen. I HATE MY METABOLISM!
