Hi Bren, thanks for your comments.You're really doing a great job! I read your other post about abdominal fat, and have the same problem, so I hope we both find a solution, although you look great to me!
I'm 54 and have lost 49 lbs since January 11th. I am about 20 lbs heavier than you, so I still have a ways to go, but am on my way to being fit after 50. I just started walking in July, but now also cycle and go to the gym when I can. I am lucky that at my gym we have 3 or 4 trainers and you can buy a one time, 30 or 60 minute session. I haven't yet, but am taking advantage of a small class teaching us how to use the toning machines. With only 2 to 4 of us their at a time, the trainer has time to work with each of us.
Are you going to do a diary? It's really helped me to keep focused.
I think that I will have to see if I can get find a decent trainer to have a couple of sessions with. At the moment I can't afford regular sessions but put probably manage a couple.
