15 years old. New to training. Want to build muscle.

Hey, ok basically.. Im 15 years old.. 5'7. And 109 pounds. No matter how much I eat, I dont gain weight. Anyway, I really want to build some muscle.. Mainly my upper arms/biceps. I dont know what is too much and what is too little so I really dont know what Im doing at this point. Can someone point me in a directions as to what I should do/eat? Thanks so much

The best advice I can give you, is to read. Especially this forum, look around and read as much as you can. Also use the search button. If you want to have a good muscle, then you need to learn about what to do, not just be told. Read this forum, and if you still have questions, ask them.

don't worry about your size now. You are only 15, still 5 years or so till your prime. Just get a good education on what to do by using this forum. Its very helpful

i started at your age a year ago. It can make a difference. Put on about 15 pounds and about two inches on my arms...it doesnt hurt.

I think 15 is a good age to start. Of course, it all depends how well developed your body is. I've seen 13 year olds that look like adults and 20 year olds that look like they're still in high school. My point is as i said that it's not your age it's how well developed your body is. The PE Co - Ordinator at my school told me that you shouldn't start lifting weights until you've at least started your growth spurt.

But anyway, as merciless said the best thing you can do for now is read and read lots about it before you start!

thanks for all the help guys. Youre all telling me to read around, and I have.. but I really dont know whats right for me... Some of the stuff is for body builders and such.

All I have at home is a bench press, assisted pullup machine, and the thing you push with your legs.. i forget what its called. I think I may get a set of dumbells, but what I have been doing is just do every station until muscle failure.. Am I doing it wrong?
