15 year old wanting to start exercising

Hi im 15 year old and want to start working out im like 5"2 and weight 123 lb. which i think is alot. I am pretty weak i struggle to do push-ups. Sometimes i eat breakfast and i dont eat lunch only sometimes i buy pizza/chips at school and when i get at home like at 4:30 pm i am real hungry and eat alot. I hope you can help me.
 
keep doing pushups ... they will get easier if you train them. Do pushups 3x / week and try to do as many as you can, 2-3 times with 30s break in between. it will get easier within a couple weeks. only way to get good at something is practice
 
hey man, im 15 as well but have a considerable amount of knowledge with your situation. I am 5'"6 and 153 lbs, which also is alot. Do NOT SKIP MEALS. If you do not eat enough, your body takes muscle from you. the goal is to lose fat, right? so you should instead lower your calorie intake and eat more healthier foods. At my high school, we have weight class every day and get a work out in, if your school has a gym consider using it when possible. I hope you get by!
