1200 Calorie Diet Club

Hola!

I think I'm going to be joining you guys here...

I hate feeling dependent on counting calories for weight loss (makes me feel obsessive), but hey, if that's what it takes...:rolleyes:

Plus, the support here is FANTASTIC :D

Today

B-fast
1 FF Plain Yogurt - 80
1/2 cup of blueberries (~50)
1/2 cup All-Bran Cereal (~ 60)

Hmm...that's the most breakfast I've recently been able to eat...but it's kept me nice and full :)

1200 or lower is my goal and I've been doing fairly well the last few days! yah me! :)

today:
Breakfast: 4 slices lean turkey - 40
1 apple - 50
1 liter water

Lunch: Lean cuisine meal with dessert - 320
diet coke

Snack: 11/3 serving craisen trail mix - 200
Jello sugar free pudding cup - 60

Dinner: Smart Ones pot roast meal - 170
diet coke
1 cup v8 fusion - 140

Snack: 3 oz beef - 150???
rice cake - 60
Exercise: 90 min walking/jogging = 360
about 11/2 hours of housework = ???

Totals caloric intake: 1190 Total burned: 460?

here's what I've had to far---

1 light mozzerella stick - 60
1 pack south beath diet wheat crackers - 100

Snack - sugar free pudding cup- 60
1 serving trail mix - 140

Lunch: lean cuisine alfredo penne and chicken with broccoli - 220
diet coke

lots and lots of water!! I walked/jogged with my kids for 40 minutes today... in the searing Texas heat. My 3 yo wasn't very happy with me. we kept well hydrated, so it was good. I was also doing walking side squats using my resistance band, and it BROKE! I'm so bummed about that. But, I'd just finished, so I got a REALLLLY good butt and thigh workout! Yah!

I also just got doing a tricep/bricep workout with some ab work too. My arms are burnin'!! :)
 
I think that I may be joining the lot of you here. If I don't give myself rules...I tend to be a very naughty girl.

1200 from now on. That's it! :::gulp:::
 
As of Friday, july 7th this club will be unstickied. There are too many clubs to be stickied and we, as moderators, feel that all clubs should be brought to the top of the page in the traditional manner - posting by its "members". This not only reduces the clutter but puts all clubs on equal footing since no one club is more important than another. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

OK, I tend to be a lil' on the underside of 1200 kcals, but I'd love to join and get some support from here as well. Plus you make it sound so exciting :D Even though I don't quite reach the 1200 mark, can I join? I do aim for a total inbetween 1000 and 1200 kcals though.

I think I need some accountability. I sort of have the if no one sees it didn't really happen mentality. I have been able to maintain a decent weight but am plagued by periods of binging and periods of strict reduction. Before the summer starts up and I can't hide any body flaws in my jeans and sweaters I need to tighten the reins a bit and be good :)

LUNA bar-180
Apple- 70
granola bar from vending machine- 140
Salad with gorganzola and sliced almonds- 250
small soup- 100
banana- 100
Wheatbix with soy milk, walnuts, protein powder-350
Total- 1190

Calorically I didn't do too bad but think I could improve my choices a bit. I should mention I don't eat meat (but do have fish) and try to keep the dairy intake pretty low.
