On the way to the football game last night my teenage daughter and her friend wanted to go to my favorite fast food place...I just got a diet coke...sure smelled good though. I also avoided the concession stand at the game! Yeah me!
Today is day 35

Day 20.

I find it incredibly easy not to eat fast food, while I found it quite hard when I started. It's interesting how much human behavior is determined by habits. Getting fast food used to be my habit, so that was what I regularly did and resisting was hard. Now, some time later, I got rid of that (bad) habit and I am used to getting/making other foods.

This is why my main method to reach my weight loss/health (and other) goals is changing habits, one by one. It takes a while before you get results, but as you change more habits, you can reap the benefits from that investment. That is what I am doing now. My lifestyle is much more healthy, and it takes very little effort to continue this, because I built all these habits up gradually.

Weight loss is not a project. It's the result of a process of change, that continues for the rest of your life.

Almost half way
Kinda thinking about what I might make my reward if I make it to day 100.
HMMMM well it wont be a food reward. Maybe a new article of clothing or a book? Maybe take a day off work?
I am gonna think on this a bit.
 
Hello, i'll try this 100 days challenge, i think it's interesting and i 'll see if it leads to progress towards weight loss.

Half way there
The reality is that I will need much more than 50 more days to reach my ultimate weight loss goals
But I do plan some kind of non food reward for reaching the 100 day milestone (if I can do it)
 
Well done you guys your doing brilliant! I just discovered the forum today. Count me in! Day 1 for me. Could you guys update your weight loss whilst on this challenge and I'll do the same?
 
I keep slipping up and getting fast food. So I'll start again. Tomorrow will be day 1 since I had BK today
 
Day 65
If I make 100 days I think I will reward myself with some new walking shoes.
