Im sick and cant eat

Im hoping someone can shed some light in this for me.
I know how bad it is not to eat anything but I haven't been able to stomach anything for almost 24hours. Yesterday I wasn't feeling great and probably ate bellow my calories for the day. Today I haven't been able to eat anything. All I've managed is an energy drink and two glasses of water so I also feel dehydrated too. Im really worried about my body going into starvation mode and putting weight back on.

Can someone give me some advise on what I could do.

All I can say is eat a very slow balanced and safe meal. Literally potato meat or chicken with veg, no flavours, spices, wheat, dairy, anything with even the slightest risk.
Eat it slowly and let it settle. If you stomach is empty for long periods that alone can make it feel unsettled.
If this fails, get a medical professional to look into it if it continues too long.

The problem is even thinking about things like chicken, meat or vegetables makes me feel sick.
I did a bit of research on "starvation mode" I couldn't find much but it would seem I'm not really at risk.
Apparently it takes a few days to set in and some people go as far as saying its a myth.

Either way this really sucks because I know its gonna take a few days before I can really get back into my normal routine of eating and working out..

Fortunately there is a big difference between feeling and being sick. Ironically the thing that most often stops the feeling is getting food into your stomach, it doesn't always work but the exceptions are rare.
Starvation mode is often confusing for many people but is not a myth. It is a drop in metabolism to keep you alive during times of food shortage. This doesn't add weight at the time, by definition there is nothing ot add weight with. However after this is over the body is more likely to store fat to ensure it is safe the next time it is starved.
Doing this every now and then due to illness etc. will not cause major weight issues, but if it becomes frequent as in many who use fad diets, it does.

You need to get real food in to help settle your stomach, maybe throw in a few indigestion tablets. Take the meal very slowly so a quick 5 minute snaffle could take you half to an hour. If this fails and you are sick without encouraging it, you need to see a doctor and give them full details of anything leading up to the time of your illness.

There will be stepping stones like this along the way. A few months ago, I caught a stomach bug and couldn't keep anything in for a week. The most important thing you can do is bounce right back when you are 100% again.
