snacking

Hi there, recently started going to the gym after work, and was wondering if there are any snack products out there that you would recommend to fill the gap and stop me from getting hungry at the gym?

any help, greatly appreciated.

any suggestions please?
if the question is a bit confusing, I would just like some product recommendations that I can pick up from the supermarket.

interesting question as I was thinking about this the other day. I tend to buy chocolate milkshakes the have before the gym, but it doesn't give me the full boost I need, and some of the milkshakes are high in fat, not ideal when you are trying to stay healthy.
my gym sells standard snacks, chocolate bars, crisps etc, but there is nothing available apart from protein shakes that offers a healthy alternative. of course there is cereal bars, but they always seem to be aimed at being low in calories, rather than concentrating on delivering an energy boost.

I would also appreciate any product recommendations, tried and tested by others on this forum.

You could maybe try a protein bar... low in calories but high in protein which will make you feel full...
If you're really set on training off the calories, you might wanna go for something higher in calories... maybe something sweeter like an energy bar.

On days when I work out after work but before dinner, my go-to snack is a banana. They're portable, cheap(!), easy to digest and they get me through my workout. I usually eat one about 30 mins before my workout.
