Is there such a thing as too much cardio for weightloss?

Can too much cardio hinder weightloss?

For example, is 90min on the elliptical with moderate resistance considered too much?
 
It is not to much, its just that your body will not be burning any fat because it will be becoming more efficient at using your fat for energy.

In order to lose weight, you need to do resistance training with a moderate to intense levels of training.
