I would assume that would depend on several factors. What are your goals, how active you are now, how are you going to change your diet with the program and what type of "intense workout" are you doing in those 7 min. Here are a some examples.
If you just want to shed a bit of weight and are going to significantly improve your diet and are currently not very active then yes those 7 min workouts will likely help.
If you want to add bulk, that's probably not going to happen. If you want to lose weight but don't change your diet with the program then it's probably not going to work too well. If you are already fairly active then this isn't going to help much. Finally if you are looking to improve your heart and lung health this probably isn't going to help much.
