Sport Healthy Recipes Reccomendations?

Sport Fitness
Alright so I mentioned before in a previous post that I do not like Vegetables at all, I find that the only time I will eat vegetables is in a soup or if its little bits cooked into something like rice. Can anyone recommend me some delicious or just bearable recipes? I dont like big pieces of vegetables cooked into something like a omelet, But I'm sure I can handle small pieces. I hate being a picky eater, its so difficult... Lol

Hers a Side Question Lol. I heard V8 is bad from my other post because of the sodium, But is 30MG of sodium for 8 fl oz of V8 bad?

You must be drinking VERY low sodium V8. Regular V8 has 420 MG, low sodium has 140 MG. Maybe you are drinking one of the fruit and veggie combination ones (Fusion)?

1500MG of sodium per day should be your max. That's why regular V8 is a crappy choice because one glass brings you over 25% of your total. And in the typical crap Americans eat, salt is in almost everything.

You have to read labels. Some soups have over 1100MG of sodium per cup!!!

I know someone mentinoed this to you before. Consider food a fuel. Just grin and bear it. And eventually you will love vegetables. Do you have a grill? There is nothing better than some grilled asparagus, or red peppers, or portebello mushrooms. Ummm. I gotta stop because I am making myself hungry.

You are young. Someday you are gonna have kids. If you want healthy kids they MUST eat vegetables at every meal. But if Dad won't, why should they? :(

Sorry it took so long for me to reply, I was living up my spring break and was bearly near a computer.

Yes I am drinking the Fusion V8.

I appreciate you trying to motivate me, I may just have to tough it out and start eating vegetables. I do have a grill I am going to try some grilled vegetables and see how those turn out. And as for Salad dressing, I don't even like ranch Lol. I will definitely have to drastically change my eating habits and eat what I don't like. Oh well it's all for the better to help me get fit and live a healthier life. Thanks for the info.

And could I stick to the V8 Fusion? I am still gonna try Vegatables. :)

Hummus, and mustard, that's how i love to snack on them now, pretty much raw, or if i am cooking them i saute in olive oil lightly and add Montreal steak seasoning... mmm mmm good!

get yourself a juicer machine .... combine the juice from vegetables and fruit

example: juice of a bunch of spinach, a carrot, an apple, a stick of celery and a pear .... from all that, you may get 3/4 glass of fresh juice .... much better than v8 or any other similar IMHO
